Blackpool car dealership's new team

A new team has arrived at a Blackpool motor retailer bringing with them a century of experience between them in selling cars.

The four new appointments are headed by Paul Meadowcroft, who has taken over the brand manager’s role at Lookers Blackpool.

He brings with him 41 years of experience in the motor trade, with 24 years’ continuous service working for Dutton Forshaw and Lookers, which acquired the dealership in 2007.

Paul has worked with colleagues Paul Devere and Andrew Stewart for the past 10 years. Paul Devere, has 10 years’ experience in the motor trade including nine with Lookers, is the new car sales manager at the Ashworth Road retailer.

Andrew has clocked up 12 years’ service with Lookers, in a 35-year career in the motor trade. He has taken on the role of aftersales manager at the Blackpool site.

Paul Meadowcroft, from Lytham, said: “Customer satisfaction and staff retention and training are top of our agenda, with our main focus on keeping high customer service levels”Wirral-born Richard Davies is also new to the Lookers Volkswagen Blackpool site taking on the role of used car sales manager.

He brings with him 14 years’ motor trade experience, with seven in the Lookers group.
