We've put 11 years hard work but, if we can't find a permanent home this summer, it'll kill our business

Hayley Conlin and husband Mike own Sno-Fro, specialising in snow cones which they sell on the Fylde Coast and further afield. Having started peddling their tasty wares on the Promenade some 11 years ago, the couple now sell the icy snacks from a specially-built trailer.
The only issue for the couple is that they don't have a permanent pitch and have to set up a special gazebo at summer festivals and events throughout Lancashire. And with temperatures soaring this week and the summer season already underway, Hayley and Mike are desperate to find a home for their business.

Hayley explained: "I started selling as a peddler on the Prom and then we moved onto selling from a gazebo at festivals and weekend events. It's a lot of hard work setting up from scratch all the time and now we would like a permanent place which we can just go to each day and start work.
"We originally wanted to set up in the grounds of a South Shore hotel, but the council said it was against regulations. Anywhere - South Shore, North Shore, Bispham, Cleveleys and Fleetwood, would suit us. But we would prefer Lytham or St Annes, if possible."
With the start of the season just around the corner, Hayley says it's sno joke being a homeless snow cone vendor. "We work from Easter to the end of August and time is going fast," she said. “We would welcome any approaches from people who can offer us a site on good terms."
