Blackpool business expo set for return

Businesses at the 2016 Blackpool Business Expo

Organisers have unveiled the date of the event at the Urban Village Resort on East Park Drive as Wednesday, September 27.

Free to enter for visitors, last year’s attracted hundreds of businesses and decision makers to peruse more than 50 stalls and take part in a day long series of seminars.

Nichola Howard, founder of Launch Events North West which organises the Expo said: “Returning to Blackpool in September will feel like coming home to the Launch Events North West team.

“This will be Blackpool’s third dedicated exhibition to showcase the brightest and best that the town’s economy has to offer, and the business community has really got behind us - we’re already getting enquiries for bookings.

One of the events will give Fylde coast businesses the chance to accelerate their business development with two speed networking sessions.

They will take place at 10.30am and 12.30pm in the main exhibition area and offer the opportunity to owners to tell up to 20 people about their business and to start valuable relationships with potential suppliers, colleagues and clients.

Registrations will start ten minutes before the start times and places will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Among the seminars will be a focus on boosting skills in social media, multi-channel marketing and online lead generation.
