Blackpool bullion firm retains award

In a hotly contested competition which saw over 140 British bullion dealers battle for the most prestigious award in the trade, Chard secured 29.1 per cent of the final vote.

In an industry dominated by London and Birmingham dealers whose turnovers exceed hundreds of millions, over the last 12 months Chard have seen sales grow by 29.3 per cent.

The awards are hosted by Bullion.Directory, a specialist online directory.

A total of 1,042 bullion dealers from all over the world took part in the 2018 awards to fight for the right to be crowned 2018 Bullion Dealer of the Year in their region.

Lawrence Chard said “We are over the moon. It is a huge achievement and we are proud to be named as the UK’s 2018 Bullion Dealer of the Year.

"We want to shout the news from the top of Blackpool Tower and say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for us. Not only did we win this title but we also were voted the 2018 E-Commerce Dealer of the Year and the 2018 Numismatic Dealer of the Year in the global awards.”
