This year’s amount takes the total raised since its launch in 2018 to £165,000 and Sue Swire, fundraising manager for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, said: “We have been lucky enough to have been involved since the first show and every year, the event just gets bigger with more families and people of all ages turning out to enjoy it.

“The show has become a real spectacle. We are so grateful to be its charity partner.

“Our thanks and gratitude to everyone involved in the show’s organisation, who work tremendously hard to make it the great event it is.”

Rosemere Cancer Foundation works to bring world class cancer treatments and services to cancer patients from throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria being treated at Rosemere Cancer Centre at the Royal Preston Hospital, and also at another eight local hospital cancer units across the two counties, including Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
