“It has been an honour to participate in the BIBAs and meet so many businesses that are positively impacting the region. We read the applications then met the finalists for face-to-face interviews as part of the first round of judging.

"We could not have truly understood what makes each business so special without seeing them in their own premises.

“The BIBAs has created a fantastic platform to showcase the success of the business community in Lancashire, it really is the ‘one they all want to win’ and the finalists put everything in to the application and judging rounds, so we were delighted we were to be able to ensure they got every opportunity to show the judges what makes them so special.”

Last Wednesday, the Business of the Year judging panel, which was led by Chris Hayes, of BIBAs headline sponsor, Cuadrilla Resources, and included BLM Law’s Daniel Varney, met their finalists. The prizes will be handed out in the Tower Ballroom on September 14.
