Beacon Fostering is set to attend the upcoming Blackpool Jobs Fair in order to inspire a new generation of foster carers in the North West.

Beacon Fostering, a local independent fostering agency rooted in the heart of the North West, will be attending the Blackpool Jobs Fair on Friday, June 13th at Blackpool FC’s Bloomfield Road Stadium. The job fair is being run by The Bridge and is free to attend - if you’re interested, you need to register by clicking here.

With a strong presence in the community and a mission to create brighter futures, Beacon Fostering is calling on compassionate individuals to consider fostering and help tackle the growing shortfall of foster carers in the region. The agency is currently recruiting foster carers across the North West focused on Blackpool, Preston, Lancashire and Manchester.

This timely event follows on from Foster Care Fortnight, which ran from May 12th to 25th, a national campaign highlighting the urgent need for more foster families. Beacon Fostering hopes to keep the momentum going by speaking directly to attendees about the rewarding journey of becoming a foster carer.

Whether you’re new to fostering, thinking of transferring from another fostering agency, or simply curious about what’s involved, their friendly fostering team will be on hand to offer guidance, answer questions, and share their extensive knowledge and experience.

Named after the nearby Beacon Fell and inspired by the idea of being a guiding light for children and families, Beacon Fostering is built on a foundation of therapeutic fostering support and deep-rooted care.

As they say, their motto - “Brighter futures start here” - reflects a belief in the power of stable, loving homes to change young lives. The agency also has a strong family ethos and focus on achieving positive outcomes for children.
