Battle of bands to take place at college

The Battle of the Bands will take place on Thursday, with doors opening at the college on Blackpool Old Road at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

The event, which is free to attend and is sponsored by Lytham St Annes Guitars, Strings and Things and D’Addario UK, will run until 9.30pm.

The winning band will win the title of ‘Best Band’ and a chance to perform at St Anne’s kite festival, as well as accessories and prizes from Lytham St Annes Guitars.

Tickets are still available for the competition, which promised to showcase ‘amazing talent’.
