Barn at historic hall set on fire
Five youths have been arrested after an outbuilding fire at Hackensall Hall, Hackensall Road, Knott End.
Firefighters from Preesall and Bispham were called to the fire in a barn measuring 50m by 10m at 6.30pm on Friday.
They used buckets of water to extinguish the fire which is believed to have been started deliberately.
A neighbour spotted five youths running away from the scene, across a neighbouring golf course, and they were later picked up by police.
