Axe-wielding raiders steal cash from vehicle

He, and two others, all wearing masks and dark clothing, targeted the vehicle at the Shell garage in Hatfield Avenue at 7.50am.

Police are appealing for help to track the raiders.

They say a substantial amount of cash was taken during the incident.

Detectives believe the men left the scene in a dark coloured sports car, possibly an Audi or BMW, before changing into a white Audi 4x4.

Investigations are continuing.
