Fylde branch is in desperate need of volunteers to support their shop, animal rehoming, help with publicity, committee activities, supporting animals in care and to organise fund-raising events.

RSPCA Fylde Branch Manager Liz Rawson said: “We have lots of different ways people can get involved at the local Fylde branch.

“If you have a passion for animal welfare and can offer a few hours a week, on a regular basis, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

“Anyone interested is welcome to drop in at any time during the event to find out more information and meet with existing volunteers and committee members.

“You don’t necessarily need lots of spare time to volunteer with us.

“Our fund-raising, re homing and publicity volunteer opportunities are flexible and some roles you can even complete from your own home.

People volunteer for different reasons so whether you want to enrich your CV, meet new people, develop new skills or do your bit for the local community then we would encourage you to come along on either day.
