All eyes on Comic Relief efforts

Specsavers in Blackpool has launched a competition to find the resort’s most hilarious photo.

Up to March 14, people are invited to bring their amusing pictures along to the store to be displayed on the ‘funny wall’, with the image deemed most comical winning designer frames.

And workers at Specsavers in Cleveleys got into the spirit with fundraising activities – including sponsored leg waxing, a colouring competition and dressing up and making their faces funny for money.

Karen Simpson, store manager, said: “Red Nose Day is an excellent opportunity for our team, as well as community, to unite in support of the fabulous work Comic Relief 
does.”
