Spanning two weeks each May, the Blackpool Dance Festival is the largest of the five festivals held in Blackpool, attracting elite dancers from around the globe.
It features Ballroom and Latin American competitions, including the British Open Championships for Adult Amateur and Professional couples, as well as Formation Team events.
In 2005, the programme expanded with the introduction of the British Rising Star Amateur Ballroom and Latin competitions, further showcasing emerging talent.
In 2026, the festival will mark a historic milestone as it celebrates its 100th anniversary.
