The annual event took place yesterday, attracting hundreds of visitors, families and of course, kites.

The weather was perfect for the event, with the sun shining and the wind blowing.

Kite enthusiasts from around the country gathered for the event, which is one of the dedicated largest kite flying festivals in the UK. There was an array of both small and professional kites, with elaborate and colourful designs lighting up the Fylde coast’s skyline.
