17 utterly mouth-watering pictures from Walterz's new Spring menu launch

“Spring is all about fresh flavours and feelgood food.”

A new spring menu has been launched at Newton Hall Holiday Park’s Café at Walterz, with a focus on sharing dishes and seasonal ingredients.

The updated menu, created by local chef Nathan Shaw, introduces a mix of small plates, flatbreads and salads alongside existing staples. The changes mark a shift towards lighter options and what the venue describes as more “social” dining, with dishes designed for groups to share rather than traditional individual meals.

New additions include freshly baked flatbreads topped with globally inspired ingredients and a selection of colourful salads, while established items such as burgers and brunch-style dishes remain on offer.

“Spring is all about fresh flavours and feelgood food,” says Nathan. “We wanted the new menu to feel vibrant, colourful and a little bit playful with dishes that are packed with flavour but still feel light and perfect for the season. The flatbreads and salads are real standouts for me – they’re fresh, bold and perfect for sharing.”

According to the venue, produce grown on-site is expected to play a bigger role in the coming months, with ingredients supplied from a kitchen garden overseen by head gardener Conrad Bunday.

Café at Walterz is located inside Walterz Entertainment Centre, a leisure venue that also includes activities such as bowling, arcade games and karaoke. It has become a popular destination for visitors to the holiday park and surrounding areas.

Part of Partington’s Holiday Parks, the venue continues to invest in unforgettable experiences and is led by joint CEOs Rob Kearsley and Andrea Challis. “Café at Walterz is all about bringing people together,” they said. “This new menu captures that perfectly as it’s fun, full of flavour and designed to create great moments for everyone.”
