15 super cute pictures of dancing dog learning some football tricks ahead of England's clash with Norway

A group of competitive dancing dogs took a break from their usual weekly practise to learn some football-themed tricks ahead of England vs Norway quarter finals match in the Fifa World Cup.

These clever pooches travel all over the country to compete in 'Heelwork To Music' - a fun dog sport that involves choreographing dance routines based around the dog walking and moving to the handler's heel.

Based in Inskip, dog trainer, Dawn Heaton says: "We've taken a break this week so we can have some fun working on football-themed tricks. We've been teaching the dogs to dribble the ball, hold a little England flag, hold the ball, running around cones with the ball, all sorts of things, in support of our team."

Dawn started Preston Trick Dogs so she could have fun with her pets, and teach other dog owners to do the same, adding that she is 'never serious' when she is teaching tricks.

From her training centre, Dawn teaches a range of dog activities including heelwork to music (HTM), freestyle, tricks and obedience.

Dawn also wants to encourage more young people to give dog sports a go. She regaularly hosts special training events, and next month she has Britain's Got Talent finalists Anastasia Beaumont and Salsa leading a doggy dancing workshop.
