10 mouth watering pics from inside Blackpool's new BAD Desserts shop in Lytham Road, South Shore

If you’ve got a sweet tooth then this new Blackpool business is one you are going to love.

A former Blackpool bank has been converted into a new dessert shop.

BAD, short for Build A Dessert, has opened in the former Barclays Bank on the corner of Lytham Road and Bournemouth Road in South Shore.

Among those behind the new business is Luke Bowen-Price, whose family have been trading on Blackpool Promenade for more than 200 years and who currently run Loaded Burgers there.

Luke said the key feature of bad is the self-serve ice cream section, with a wide range of flavours and topping allowing customers to build their own desserts.

A wide range of other desserts and savoury items are also on sale along with a large selection of drinks, including Australian coffee.

Luke also already has plans to extend the BAD business to further premises in Preston and said: “We’re really looking forward to customers building their own desserts in South Shore.”
