Field of Dreams was set up by Leftcoast, a community group based in Blackpool, in collaboration with international artists Heather Peak and Ivan Morison.
They transformed a seven-acre piece of disused land in Mereside into a wildflower meadow growing biodiversity, art materials and new possibilities.
The event gave guests the chance to meet the Dreamers – a family of extraordinary, three-metre-tall sculptures created by Morison and community volunteers using the wildflowers harvested from the field. A ceremonial light show and performance brought these remarkable creatures to life after dark.
