Swimmers make a splash in Blackpool pier to pier swim

Scores of hardy souls took to the water at Blackpool in the annual open water sea challenge.

The event is organised by channel swimming star Julie Bradshaw via her Getset4success organisation while safety cover was provided by the Blackpool Beach Patrol as well as the volunteers from the life saving clubs organised by Syd Holt.
