Wetherspoons to open new Fleetwood pub at Haven Cala Gran Holiday Park
Wetherspoons are opening a new pub at Haven’s Cala Gran Holiday Park in Fleetwood.
The new onsite Wetherspoons will open next spring, one of four new pubs to open on Haven parks in 2026.
Their Marton Mere Park in Blackpool will also see a renovation of its Show Bar, which will provide a 50% increase in its capacity – enabling more holiday home owners and guests to enjoy the park’s entertainment offerings.

A new Wetherspoons will also open on Haven’s Lakeland Leisure Park in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria. Haven said it’s investing £9 million in the four new Wetherspoon pubs, part of a wider £14 million programme of upgrades to its food and beverage outlets across the UK. It brings the total number of Wetherspoons on Haven’s parks to nine.
In addition to the new pubs at Cala Gran and Lakeland, Haven also confirmed that new pubs will be opening at its Riviere Sands park in Cornwall and Hopton Holiday Village in Norfolk.
Haven CEO, Simon Palethorpe, said: “Haven is all about giving our customers more of what they love – and our partnership with J D Wetherspoon does just that.
“All our parks give our guests and owners access to brands which they love, be that Burger King, Slim Chickens, Chopstix, Millies Cookies, Papa Johns, Costa or J D Wetherspoon.
“With these new J D Wetherspoons at Cala Gran and Lakeland; the renovation of the Marton Mere Show Bar; and the opening of our new £10 million water park at Kent Coast , as well as many other investments in our parks, there are even more reasons to holiday with Haven in 2026.”

Wetherspoons’ commercial director Michael Barron added: “Our partnership with Haven continues to go from strength to strength.
“We are delighted that four new J D Wetherspoon pubs will open at Haven parks in 2026. We are confident that they will prove popular with Haven’s holidaymakers and owners.”
Since launching the partnership, Haven and J D Wetherspoon have served 907,000 main meals, 288,000 breakfasts and pulled 692,201 pints across the five Haven sites.

The first Wetherspoon pub opened in March 2024 at Haven’s Primrose Valley Holiday Park in Filey, North Yorkshire. Following this, four more J D Wetherspoon were built at Haggerston Castle near Berwick, Northumberland, Cleethorpes Beach in Lincolnshire, Devon Cliffs near Exmouth and Kent Coast near Rochester.
Elsewhere, Haven Rockley Park in Poole will see a new Burger King – bringing the total number of Burger Kings on Haven’s parks to 22. Further investment will see a new supermarket at Haven Kent Coast which will also open its new £10m water park next spring.
