Ryecroft in Hambleton is getting a whole new makeover as new owners announce takeover - located next to Co-op in Hambleton on Sandy Lane.
Hambleton is set to welcome a new café and bar, Ryecroft with the team behind the venture promising a fresh hub for locals to meet, relax and enjoy locally sourced food and drink.
The venue is located next to the Co-op and will offer artisan coffees, locally produced cakes and light brunches, available for both eat-in and takeaway.
In addition, customers can look forward to a carefully curated selection of ales, artisan spirits and wines.
Menus will include options catering to gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian diets.
Contracts for the site have been finalised and the team is now taking possession of the property, while work begins on interior design, layout and menu development.
A spokesperson from Ryecroft on Facebook, said: “The contracts are signed and over the next few days we’ll be collecting the keys to our new venue in Hambleton.
“Behind the scenes, the team are working tirelessly on the interior design, layouts, menus - the whole lot - to bring a fresh new look to Hambleton and create something the whole village can be proud of.
“With work starting in the coming weeks, we know there will be lots of questions about what’s to come.
“For now, we’d love to keep some things under wraps, but we’ll be revealing more information as the weeks go by - so please bear with us. We’re just as excited as you all are.
“We’ve been absolutely inundated with messages from so many lovely local residents welcoming us to the village - thank you so much for the warm reception.
“We’ll be serving artisan coffees, locally produced cakes, and light brunches, available to eat in or take away.
“Alongside that, you can expect a carefully curated range of ales, artisan spirits, and wines for you all to enjoy.
“Our aim is to put Ryecroft firmly back on the map for the village and to create a welcoming space where you can sit back, relax, and soak up the ambience - both inside and outside.
“We can’t wait to share the journey with you all when we open the doors next to the Co-op in Hambleton.”

Opening times, staff roles and detailed menus are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, with further updates planned as preparations continue.
While some aspects are being kept under wraps the team has pledged to share information with residents as the launch approaches.
