National Biscuit Day: Which of these will last longest in a hot cup of tea and be crowned king of the biscuits?

It was comedian Peter Kay who once joked about the frailties of the rich tea, and that the Hobnob was ‘a better class of biscuit’ when it came to dunking, but was he right?

Well, we’re not afraid of a challenge, so we sent our intrepid reporter armed with rich tea, Hobnob, pink wafer, custard cream and chocolate digestive biscuits into the kitchen to find out.

How will they each cope faced with a prolonged dunking in hot cups of tea?
