I'm an American visiting Blackpool and I love Notranni's

An American visitor with a passion for travel and ice cream has declared his love for one of Blackpool’s sweetest institutions, Notarianni’s.

Known online as Kalani the Ghost Hunter, the U.S based content creator and paranormal enthusiast took time out from exploring the UK to enjoy a taste of Blackpool tradition, heading straight to Notarianni’s on Waterloo Road for a scoop of their iconic vanilla ice cream.

Sharing his visit with thousands of fans on social media, Kalani praised the long standing family run parlour.

His visit to Blackpool marks another stop on his journey across the UK, which has already taken him through major cities and lesser known hidden gems.

For Kalani, it wasn’t just about the flavour it was the atmosphere and local pride that left the biggest impression. He said: “Four generations have been a part of this ice cream stand. They only have vanilla but they have loads of different toppings.

“It might be one of the best vanilla ice creams I’ve ever had. It’s creamy and it’d got a good flavour. What I like about it is there’s no frills, there’s nothing crazy, it’s just a good tasty, solid vanilla ice cream.”

Notarianni’s has been serving its signature vanilla only recipe since 1928 and continues to attract both locals and visitors, many of whom consider it a must-visit spot when on the Fylde Coast.

Fans of Kalani’s ghost hunting adventures were treated to something a little lighter than his usual haunted investigations and judging by the enthusiastic response to his Blackpool content, many are now curious to visit for themselves.

Whether chasing spirits or sundaes, Kalani’s trip proves one thing - when in Blackpool, a visit to Notarianni’s is simply non-negotiable.
