Santa's Wish campaign hopes to share festive joy with Fylde coast families
Victoria Ivanov and Michelle Crane, from Blackpool-based Candy House entertainment and events firm, hope to raise £5,000 to create a virtual Santa’s grotto and provide activity packs for
vulnerable children.
Victoria said: “Santa’s Wish is a campaign to save Christmas for so many and bring Santa to families and children in need of festive spirit.
“Our target is £5,000.

“We have already reached out to charities that provide vital support to our local community - Aspired Futures, Home-Start, Aiming Higher and Boathouse Youth – and they are very keen to
be involved.
“With a digital Christmas before us, families would really benefit from this joyful experience.
“It’s been a difficult and unprecedented year for so many and we have been thinking of ways we can help local children to still have a magical Christmas time.

visit Santa this year.”
Candy House is hoping local companies and sponsors will get behind the campaign and have set up a social media tag called ‘Spread Christmas around Blackpool for £2’.
Victoria added: “In order to deliver this magical experience and offer a crucial spark of wellbeing this festive season, we are seeking help and support from businesses across the Fylde
coast in the hope that they can become sponsors.
“We are also encouraging locals to donate only £2 via justgiving.

“We have had a great response from local business Nutrition group, who have arranged a sponsored stepathon throughout November to help us raise much needed funds.”
