well as practical tips on keeping warm.

A Grange Park Task Force working with the police, schools, social housing providers and GPs has been set up by @The Grange to support vulnerable and isolated members of the

community.

Cath Powell, who is the community development manager @The Grange, said: “In just a few weeks the setting up of the Grange Park Task Force has proved really successful and we

have been able to help many local residents.”

The warm home packs will be given out by the PCSOs and the community support worker @The Grange from next week.

And the team behind the packs is asking local knitters to donate blankets to add to the packs this week.

PCSO Ali Williams, of the neighbourhood policing team, said “This task force is a way of keeping in touch with our most vulnerable residents as a multi-agency network of support.

“We would like to ask for help from local knitters and crocheters by asking for blankets to be made to add to our packs.

“We will be going around the estate from Monday, December 14 handing out these items so donations would need to be in before then.
