The 34-year-old singer had the future of her family in mind when she decided to embark on a career change and step onto the property investment ladder.

In just seven years, Kristina has managed to build a successful property portfolio on the Fylde coast, coaches budding investors and still gets her stage ‘fix’ through public speaking – all

Kristina grew up in Cleveleys and became a popular singer across Blackpool hotels and entertainment venues.

She said: “I’d work most evenings, doing two or three gigs a night.

“I’m very security driven; even at a young age I worried about that.

“I started thinking about how I would make it work with a family.”

It was after reading a book called Rich Dad, Poor Dad that Kristina decided to take the plunge and change career.

She added: “I’ve got quite an entrepreneurial spirit so I spent all of my savings on property training courses and I had a mentor to show me how to structure deals and work with investors.”

Kristina took her first step into property investment on October 31, 2014 when she bought two properties in Fleetwood– a terraced house converted into five flats on Milton Street and a six-

She said: “I chucked everything into it.

“I was viewing houses in the day and singing at night.

“Everything I buy needs a full refurbishment.

“I buy empty houses and make them liveable and affordable.

“Bringing properties back into the market, raising the game for the standard of the area and making them nice homes for young families is a big thing for me.”

Kristina works with charities to help house asylum seekers and vulnerable people. And in the last year she has branched into the tourist market, opening Lord Street Apartments in

Fleetwood and Highcliffe Apartments on Cleveleys promenade through the family business, Fylde Coast and Country Stays .

It’s no mean feat for a mum with two young sons, but Kristina hasn’t looked back and hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams.

She said: “I’m choosing to do this for the family and I hope other people are inspired to go after their dreams.”
