An archway door, closed off in the cellar of one of the Fylde’s oldest hotels, has been knocked down to reveal an old wine cellar room dating back half a century.

Staff at the North Euston Hotel in Fleetwood had walked past the bricked up archway many times over the years, but curiosity finally got the better of them during a lockdown tidy-up. Brick by brick, they removed the wall to see what was behind, as our pictures reveal....
