A spokesman for the Marine Hall, which is currently closed due to Covid-19, said: "Happy Birthday to Marine Hall! It is 85 years today since the opening of our theatre! What an amazing diverse venue it has been over the years. We might have had to close our curtains this year but we can't wait to bring you more entertainment soon."
