If you were in your clubbing prime during the 80s and 90s you were lucky enough to enjoy some of the best loved nightspots in the town's history.
Here are just some of the venues where many Fylde coast residents spent their youth.

1. Jenks
Known to many as Jenks bar, the nightspot moved from it's indy routes to play home to various dance events, eventually becoming the birthplace of Zone.
2. Zone at the The Venue
Zone had many homes during the 90s, including previously mentioned Jenks bar, The Venue and later The Mill on Aqueduct Street in Preston. DJs and MCs such as Barrie J, Andy Pendle, Chris Baker and MC Irie were just some of the familiar names from the time.
3. The Bizness
The Bizness opened in October 1992 and included music of the '60s and '70s, live entertainment and disco, as well as a pub/restaurant during the day.
4. OZ
Oz nightclub was open on the pier in 1989. It ran into the 90s providing dance and house music for the resorts youth.
5. Sequins
Dance music changed the face of Blackpool during the late 80s and early 90s. Sequins was the preferred choice for many ravers on a Saturday night with DJs Funki B and Rikkee running the show.
6. Heaven & Hell
The first of the Heaven and Hell chain of clubs opened in Blackpool, in 1998, on the Promenade, in what was a derelict building over the road from The Palace.
