Rocket man Steve Bennett with his Starchaser 3a rocket before it blasted off from the sands of Morecambe Bay. The 22-foot rocket was expecting to reach 20,000 feet on her maiden flight and is a test bed for the next model which Mr Bennett, 35, from Duckinfield, Greater Manchester, hopes will carry him into space.
