Gym staff step up to challenge for new screen
Dominic Herdman, Pippa Middleborough, Laura Pickavance, and Kim Oates, from DW Fitness in Vicarage Lane, Marton, endured hours of step exercises at the nearby Tesco Extra.
Under the watchful eyes of shoppers at the supermarket, in Clifton Road, they raised £196 which will now go towards buying a special monitor for the unit.

“With the help of our Cleveleys store, who raised money through a book sale, and through the support of our staff and customers, we now have enough money to get the monitor, which is fantastic.”
Gym manager Dominic Herdman said: “Today has been fun and it’s been great to help our friends in the community by raising money for good causes.”
And neonatal ward manager Catherine Nash added: “It’s great community support and people’s generosity is amazing.
