New data has revealed where cases of Covid are dropping off fastest across Fylde and Wyre.

These are the 16 Fylde and Wyre areas where Covid cases are falling fastest

The figures, from Public Health England, show which neighbourhoods saw a decrease in cases for the seven days to November 17, 2020.

Seven–day rates are expressed per 100,000 population and are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

There were 18 cases recorded in Warton & Freckleton, down 5.3%. The current rolling case rate is 213.9 which is at the national average.

Below are all the areas in Fylde and Wyre that saw a drop in cases, listed from lowest to highest percentage decrease.

There were 23 cases recorded in Kirkham & Wesham, down 8%. The current rolling case rate is 191.4 which is below the national average.
