Updated Wednesday, 14th April 2021, 9:58 am

The figures, for the seven days to April 9, are based on coronavirus tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two).

The rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people.

South Ribble has recorded the third biggest week-on-week increase across England, up from 37 to 46.9, with 52 new cases.
