Pre-school at Fleetwood's Charity School in Preesall is 'outstanding' again
Fleetwood’s Charity Primary School pre-school, in Mill Lane in Preesall, was visited by inspectors and was rated impressively across the board. The pre-school recorded similar ratings after previous inspections in 2010
and 2015.
Inspector Carys Millican said after the latest visit that, while there were a wide array of things which the pre-school did exceptionally well, there was no evidence of weaker areas which needed to be improved.

Hide AdThe pre-school has 16 children on its books, aged three to four years old.
Head of nursery Julia Crompton, who oversees the nursery and has been there for 20 years, said: “We’re all delighted with the report. It is always nice for the pre-school to get this sort of recognition.
“It’s down to great team work. We are a very experienced team who work together really well.
“We are also a forest school. We have a lot of outdoor education which seems to inspire the children.”

Hide AdJudging the overall provision as outstanding, the report noted that all children were enthusiastic, excited, and eager to learn.
They felt safe and secure in the setting and developed excellent relationships with the manager and staff.
It was found that all children, including those with special educational needs or disabilities, made rapid progress across all areas.
The behaviour of the children was exceptional and the “inspirational” manager had a clear vision and high expectations of the staff.
