St Wulstan's And St Edmund's Catholic Primary School has organised a Pumpkin Trail for children to complete during half term. And the event has been opened to the wider community. Fifteen pumpkin boards will be placed around Fleetwood and the aim is to find them all. As a reward, children at the school will receive a sweet cone for completing the challenge and all entrants, including members of the wider community, have the chance to win Halloween themed books, thanks to SENstory.

Haley Crouch, who helps to run the school's fundraising events said: "Due to the current situation of Covid-19 many annual fundraising events at St Wulstan's and St Edmund's, which are run by the PTFA, have been cancelled which means thousands of pounds haven't been raised which normally go towards books, play equipment and maintenance of the classrooms.

"As well as that, the pupils have missed out on great school memories of a summer fayre , carnival and discos. The PTFA decided to make an extra effort for our families to enjoy in our community over half term and make a pumpkin trail for all to enjoy." Families will be encouraged to share pictures of their finds and their fancy dress.

A Just Giving page has been set up as well to raise money for the school funds. The Pumpkin Trail Facebook group has everything you need to know.
