South Shore Academy (SSA) on St Anne's Road, Blackpool informed parents today (March 13) that year 10 and 11 pupils should attend school as normal, but it would partially close to years seven, eight and nine from Monday March 16.
It assured parents that there were no confirmed cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus at the school, but that the partial closure is "about managing the school safety given higher levels of staff absence."
