Pupils from nine schools in the Fylde Coast Academy Trust took part in a maths contest hosted by the online learning platform Sumdog.
Over the week they had to answer up to 1,000 maths questions each to score points for themselves and their class.

Younger pupils at Aspire Academy had great fun joining in and FCAT director of mathematics, Dr Catherine Farmar ( pictured above with pupils) said :" It was really exciting to see our FCAT pupils taking part in this competition so enthusiastically, showing their love of mathematics and wanting to do well for themselves, their class and their school. We strive to foster a love of learning in all our pupils and competitions like this just add some fun into the mix."
