Blackpool youngsters get quizzical

Mathematical whizz kids from across Blackpool and the Fylde have been honing their skills by celebrating Maths Week England.

Pupils from nine schools in the Fylde Coast Academy Trust took part in a maths contest hosted by the online learning platform Sumdog.

Over the week they had to answer up to 1,000 maths questions each to score points for themselves and their class.
