Having worked in a job she did not enjoy for two years, Hollie O’Reilly felt it was time to follow her passion for computing and sign up for a B&FC degree in Interactive Media Development.

Three years later and the 24-year-old, from Layton, is graduating from her programme at Blackpool and The Fylde College with a first class honours degree from Lancaster University.

She said: “I really enjoyed my course and picked it because it covered a lot of different specialities and gave me lots of skills that are important for my career.

“One thing which stands out was going to Rossall School on my placement and working with their digital marketing team, which gave me a great experience of working in industry.”

B&FC’s computing staff were celebrating a successful year this year with more than 80 per cent of graduating students securing networking jobs before leaving College, while the remaining had arranged interviews or were planning further study.

B&FC offers more than 60 degrees accredited by Lancaster University, a top 10 UK institution and 2018 Times and Sunday Times University of the Year.

It’s not too late to apply and change your world.
