The 98-bedroom property is the North East-based hospitality operator's second foray into Lancashire.
With rooms available from £98.10 per night for bed and breakfast this summer, Offshore’s general manager, Sarah McIntosh, is hoping that The Guardian’s recognition will encourage even more people to book a stay on the Lancashire coast.
She said: “It’s great to see our renovation recognised as one of the best in the UK and for us to be the only one listed in the north west.

“Our occupancy levels are building nicely as people get to know us and we’ve seen lots of people coming down to try us out as one of the newest places to eat and drink in St Anne’s so it has been an encouraging start for Offshore.”

Offering a traditional pub downstairs complete with an expansive terrace to make the most of its seaside location, The Guardian highlighted the varying sizes of the bedrooms, which include 19 single rooms, the sea views and the all-day dining and drinks offering as highlights.
Offshore’s location was also cited as a reason to stay, found as it is across the road from the sandy expanse of St Anne’s Beach and just a 15-minute drive from the bright lights of Blackpool.

“We’re anticipating a huge weekend over July’s Lytham Festival where we are already 80% full over the four days and almost full on the Saturday evening and are looking forward to a fabulous atmosphere around the event,” Ms McIntosh added.

Invited to the official reopening back in March, Amanda Trott, the daughter of Peter Rowley who operated the site for more than 60-years was also highly impressed by the refurbishment.
Speaking at the time, she said: “Offshore looks great. It is totally different to what it was originally. but I love all of it and I’m looking forward to coming in, testing it out and having some food and drink soon.
