Amanda Crossley, the owner of Concierge Ninja, set out to raise £400 for the Royal British Legion Institution by running 10km for 10 days, under the national Tommy 10k Challenge.

Her final run was fittingly on Remembrance Day.

But after her efforts Amanda was short of her target. Luckily, Chris and his business partner Ian, donated £170 to help Amanda with her goal.

She said: “Being a Navy veteran myself, having the support from other veterans in the local community is just amazing and their generosity helped me reach my £400 target! Once again the Army and the Navy working together to achieve results.”

More than 2,000 people across the UK have been raising money for the ex-servicemen's charity throughout October and November in the Tommy 10K challenge and have so far raised £189,000. It is named for the "Tommies" who fought in the trenches in the First World War.

Holmfield Property Services helps residents and businesses across the Fylde Coast with their property maintenance needs. Concierge Ninja was set up by Amanda to offer services to businesses which free entrepreneurs to do what they do best.
