Retirement for Fylde coast financial services expert after 50 years

A senior Lytham-based financial services professional has retired after a 50-year career.

Christopher Blackburn fulfilled key roles throughout his career in the North Westfinancial services industry. The former managing director of Springfield Financial Services also worked for Standard Life and Hargreave Hale.

Chris is known to many in the Fylde for his charity work, having formed the Clifton CIO charity, to help volunteers in community projects, including Lytham Hall, ParkView 4You and Ansdell in Bloom.

In 2009, he joined Blackpool-based Questa Chartered and as a senior financial planner, he inspired colleagues and helped shape company direction.
