MP’s delight over Jubilee House

The former Land Registry building – Jubilee House – at the southern end of Lytham Green, was bought by accountancy firm Danbro recently and is being converted into a state-of-the-art business hub.

The building had been allowed to fall into disrepair after the Land Registry moved into new offices in Warton, and Mr Menzies said he was delighted to see the company bringing it back to life, while also investing heavily in Lytham.

The MP said: “During the visit I was given a comprehensive tour of Jubilee House and, even though the final touches still have to be made, I was delighted to see the quality which has gone into the work to make it a business hub fit for such a prominent location.

“I was immensely pleased when the company first announced it had bought the derelict building, which had become a blight on the landscape of Lytham being based on such a landmark site at the end of the Green.

“When I was first shown the plans I was excited by the level of investment Danbro had in mind for the site.

“Having spoken to a large number of people about the work they have done, I have not come across a single person who does not think it is a major improvement and a boost for the town.

“I know almost 200 staff are due to move into the building, so I am sure traders in Lytham will also be delighted with the extra footfall in the town.”

As well as providing a new headquarters for Danbro, the building features pod offices for lease by small businesses, a canteen, coffee shop, gym, and a range of public spaces for use by tenants.
