Karen joins corporate team

Karen Johnson, will lead the team of relationship directors responsible for Barclays Corporate clients who typically have turnover in excess of £50m.

Karen has over 25 years of experience in a variety of roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland in the North West and has worked in a number of corporate, property and risk roles, including heading up Real Estate, Portfolio Management and insolvency and litigation teams, as well as senior director roles in Corporate business development and corporate portfolio management. Her leadership and corporate banking experience will add value to Barclays’ clients and their businesses.

Karen said: “I am delighted to have joined the Barclays North West corporate banking team – at a time of great opportunity to build on our market leading position. I look forward to working with the local professional community and meeting our clients to understand more about their businesses and to help them achieve their strategies and ambitions. I have worked in the corporate marketplace for many years and I am keen to utilise my skills and experience to support both existing and new clients.
