Insurance’s big night out

The event has been held at the Wrea Green venue for a number of years and Institute organisers said it continued to deliver a spectacular service to all 208 guests who attended.

The institute is the professional organisation for the insurance and financial services sector.

Richard Garratt was president and host for the evening and guests were entertained by guest speaker Frank McKenna from Downtown in Business.

Special thanks were given to Anne Pickover and Deborah Airey for their efforts in organising the night, which made a profit on last year’s dinner.

Richard Garratt said: “The local insurance market donned their glad rags and turned out in force for their annual dinner which was a great evening.

“Guests from across the region enjoyed fine food, great entertainment and then danced the night away to a live band”.
