Redrow Homes has been named as one of the sponsors of this year’s week-long Lytham Festival which hopes to attract around 100,000 people to the Fylde Coast from August 2 to 9.

Lytham Proms grew into a three-day music festival from its inception in 2010 as a one-night event – but this year it returns rebranded as the much-expanded seven-day Lytham Festival and with Redrow on board it is hoped the sponsorship partnership will grow.

Redrow’s involvement with Lytham Festival will see it sponsoring the Champagne Terrace at the Proms Arena on Lytham Green as well as the new-for-2015 Jazz Café.

Redrow is currently marketing properties at The Villas at Lytham Quays, which makes it the ideal sponsor for events within the festival.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow (Lancashire) said: “Redrow prides itself on supporting the communities in which we build and getting involved in local events.

“Partnering with the Lytham Festival is a fabulous way of ensuring events like this can get even bigger and better – something the Lytham Festival seems to do every year.

“In conjunction with our prestigious development, Villas @ Lytham Quays, we are thrilled to be supporting the Champagne Terrace and a new feature for this year, the Jazz Cafe, and we’re looking forward to the various performances.”

As well as its Lytham development, Redrow is building new homes all across Lancashire, including four-bedroom detached family homes at Ricksby Grange, in nearby Wrea Green, plus developments in Blackpool, Fleetwood, Southport, Whalley, Garstang, Chorley and Lancaster.

Lytham Festival is organised by event promoters Cuffe and Taylor who this year will bring headline acts including Billy Ocean, Faithless, Marti Pellow and Elaine Paige to the Proms arena.

There will also be nightly sets at Lowther Pavilion, the town’s Assembly Rooms will be transformed into a Jazz Café, The Piazza welcomes the BBC Introducing Stage, the Hewitt Lecture Rooms will host evenings of poetry and spoken word and Park View4U will host The Festival of Stories and comedy.

Cuffe and Taylor director Peter Taylor said: “We are thrilled Redrow has come on board and recognised the value of sponsoring Lytham Festival.

“This year is going to be so much bigger than anything we have ever done before and it really means a lot to us when such large nationally known brands and respected companies want to support our work.”
