As the cost of living continues to rise, many people have welcomed the Government’s vow to cut fuel tax costs for the first time since 2011.

Average fuel prices soared to record highs in recent weeks, with petrol costing 1.67p a litre and diesel 1.80p. Yesterday, Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced a 5p cut to fuel duty to combat the costs.
