Fylde housebuilder looking to expand business

The company is already building new homes in seven locations across Lancashire and Cumbria and is aiming to increase the number of its developments across the two counties.

The housing market in the region is strong, with prices rising over the past three years, according to Rightmove – by six per cent in Lancashire and eight per cent in Cumbria.

Ralph Bacon, regional director of Jones Homes Lancashire, which is based in St Anne’s, said: “The market here remains strong, and there’s a growing demand for new homes.

"As a successful, expanding company we’re looking to increase our number of sites, particularly in Cumbria, which is a growth area for us.

“Because we’re a private, family-owned company, we can make quick decisions, which makes us a good company to deal with.

“We carefully select sites in desirable locations where people want to live and this helps to deliver good value for landowners.”
