Fylde housebuilder looking to expand business

Fylde-based housebuilder Jones Homes Lancashire said it is expanding and looking for more land to meet the growing demand for new housing in the region.

The company is already building new homes in seven locations across Lancashire and Cumbria and is aiming to increase the number of its developments across the two counties.

The housing market in the region is strong, with prices rising over the past three years, according to Rightmove – by six per cent in Lancashire and eight per cent in Cumbria.

Ralph Bacon, regional director of Jones Homes Lancashire, which is based in St Anne’s, said: “The market here remains strong, and there’s a growing demand for new homes.
