A charity raffle took place on the day in aid of Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children’s Hospice and customers enjoyed cheese and wine tasting courtesy of The Lancashire Wine School.

Glenn Keeley played during the 70s and 80s and also enjoyed stints with Oldham and a brief period at Everton.

Along with his wife Karen, a former dance studio manager and teacher, he believes that Dream Doors provides consumers with a chance to revamp their kitchen without the expense and hassle of a re-fit:

He said: “A full kitchen re-fit can take weeks and weeks and can run into tens of thousands of pounds – people want a kitchen they can be proud of, but don’t want that disruption or expense.

“Dream Doors is an established national brand and as we’ve lived in the area for so long, know that the people of Thornton and Cleveleys and Blackpool will relish the chance for a kitchen makeover at a fraction of the cost they would pay elsewhere.”

Dream Doors replaces doors, worktops and drawer fronts, transforming old kitchens, saving time and money, with a makeover completed within just 48 hours.

Dream Doors was established in 1999 and is the UK’s premier kitchen makeover firm.

Dream Doors managing director Troy Tappenden said: “Many of our franchisees saw record sales in 2014 and I know that Glenn and Karen are already off to a flying start in Thornton.

“It just makes sense for consumers to have the personal touch of local people to guide them through the design and set-up process, with the security of the overall Dream Doors brand behind that.”

Glenn and Karen are offering 20 per cent off kitchen makeovers throughout March 2015 and just ask for a 50 percent deposit, with customers only paying the balance when they are completely satisfied.

“All of the doors and work surfaces we supply are made-to-measure and manufactured in the UK, and come with a free guarantee,” said Glenn. “We had an amazing time at the showroom opening and can’t wait to get started properly, as we think Dream Doors will be a great addition to Thornton Cleveleys.”
