The Three Piers is a Cookhouse and Pub chain watering hole named in honour of Blackpool' s famous landmarks and according to owners Whitebread aims to have the relaxed vibe and affordability of a pub, together with quality food and service of a casual restaurant.

The group said the new venue has been designed with a fresh and bold contemporary interior to create a fitting backdrop to the open plan kitchen

The site was the former Yate’s building on Talbot Road which was destroyed by fire in 2009, but has now risen as one of the resort's newest hotels

The five storey, £7.1m, hotel saw construction start in 2018 and was close to opening in March last year when the pandemic struck and delayed the launch

But now it is open and Three Piers general manager Stuart Chambers, pictured, said the first few days have been a great success.

Stuart Chambers, said: “It's fantastic to finally be open and being able to serve guests after lockdown. "The feedback from the first week has been amazing, with the guests loving the food, atmosphere and how amazing the restaurant looks.”

Stuart added: "It's been a great accomplishment being able to recruit and train everyone during lockdown and I am extremely proud of how all the team have risen to the challenge for us to have a successful opening."
