Morrisons is now on Amazon in Blackpool

Amazon and Morrisons today announced that, for the first time, customers in Blackpool and surrounding areas including Thornton-Cleveleys, Bispham, and Fleetwood are now able to do their full Morrisons food shop on Amazon.co.uk and enjoy free same-day delivery on orders over £40 as part of their Prime membership.

As well as arriving in Blackpool, ‘Morrisons on Amazon’ also launches today in 15 towns and cities including Glasgow, Swansea, Birmingham and Liverpool, following launches earlier this month across the country that mean the same-day grocery delivery service is now available to millions of Prime members across the UK.

Today's announcement will make Morrisons accessible to customers that use Amazon.co.uk and the Amazon app.

Prime members can find everyday essentials and favourites such as Morrisons The Best range and Morrisons Market Street selection, including bread freshly baked by Morrisons bakers and hand finished cream cakes from its cake shops.

The range includes handmade products from Morrisons’ butchers and fishmongers, and a selection of fruit and vegetables by quantity, providing even more choice.

Fast delivery options

Prime members will benefit from Amazon’s fastest grocery delivery offer, usually as fast as same-day for orders placed before 5pm in most areas.

As well as free delivery in two-hour windows, Prime members in the area can now choose delivery in a one-hour window on all orders over £40 for a delivery fee of £3.99.

Orders are hand-picked from local stores by dedicated Morrisons staff and delivered to customers by Amazon Flex Delivery Partners.

There will be thousands of items at the same price as Morrisons stores and a range of multi-buy promotions delivering great value for money.
